TotisWorkers services

Core services only. Images, cache, WebSockets, secrets, custom domains, logs, migrations and limits are documented in the Worker SDK and will get cards later.

Runtime and sandbox

Runs each app's TypeScript fetch, queue and scheduled handlers in a QuickJS-ng engine, in process or inside a Hyperlight micro-VM. Apps are isolated from each other and limited in CPU time and concurrency. Status: GA. Architecture, Worker SDK

SQL database

A database per app through env.DB, with a D1-shaped API. Row-store tables for transactions (batch() runs in one transaction) and columnar MergeTree tables for scans and aggregates. Migrations are applied once at deploy time. Status: GA. env.DB

KV

Key-value namespaces bound by name, with optional expiry per key. Used for sessions, settings and counters. Status: GA. env.kv

Queues

Producers send messages; a consumer handler receives them in batches, with retries and delays. Messages can also be pulled from outside through the Data API. Status: GA. Queues

Jobs and schedules

Named cron triggers call the app's scheduled handler. Job apps run long tasks and can be started by a signed webhook. Status: GA. Job webhooks, Worker SDK

AI

env.AI calls a model through the instance's shared AI or an organisation AI connection, so the app holds no provider keys. Status: beta. Worker SDK

Email

env.EMAIL.send() sends plain-text or HTML mail through an organisation mail connection, from a list of allowed senders. Status: beta. Worker SDK

Storage connections

env.S3 and named bucket bindings read and write objects in an S3-compatible store, configured as an organisation connection. Status: beta. Worker SDK
