TinyS3 services
Core services only. Other services (TLS, IAM, admin API and console, MCP plugin, SQL on objects) are documented in the guide and will get cards later.
S3 API
Object storage over the S3 HTTP API, signed with SigV4 or SigV2, including multipart, versioning, object lock and presigned URLs. Any S3 client or SDK talks to it. Compatibility is per operation, see the table. Status: GA. S3 API reference
Erasure coding and self-healing
Objects are split into Reed-Solomon data and parity shards across disks, so data survives the loss of up to the parity count of disks. A background healer rebuilds missing or corrupt shards. Status: GA. Self-healing, storage modes
Server pools
A cluster grows by adding pools of nodes; a pool can be decommissioned and its data moved to the others. Status: GA. Distributed mode, operating a cluster
